WORTHINGTON - A Wisconsin man will serve 180 days in jail and pay a $1,000 fine after being convicted of second-degree drug sale.

Nat Vang, 31, of Fond du Lac, Wis. was arrested in January after a Worthington police officer and K-9 discovered 147 pounds of marijuana in his vehicle. One other charge was dismissed as part of the plea agreement.

According to court documents, Vang has until noon June 28 to report to the Nobles County Jail or make arrangements to serve time in Wisconsin. He was also placed on five years of supervised probation.

A case against Vang’s brother, Thao Vang, remains pending.
