NEW RICHMOND, Wis. - A Balsam Lake woman is dead after becoming pinned under a riding lawn mower.
Delores I Cran, 75, was mowing her lawn on Sept. 15 when it appeared the mower became stuck. Cran had shut off and dismounted the mower when it rolled forward pinning her left leg under the mower deck.
Cran was discovered by her brother at about 9 p.m. after he was unable to contact her by phone.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office and Polk County Medical Examiner assisted in the investigation.
