OCHEYEDAN, Iowa — A Lake Park, Iowa woman has died following a Saturday rollover crash in Osceola County.
According to an Osceola County Sheriff's Office press release, the sheriff's office received a report at approximately 4:15 p.m. Saturday of a rollover crash on Warbler Avenue one-half mile north of Iowa 9. The reporting party advised one female passenger was injured.
Christopher Michael Bosma, 48, of Lake Park was driving a 2014 Polaris Ranger 900XP eastbound on the Ed Winkel Memorial Trail and turned north onto Warbler Avenue, the press release stated. Bosma then accelerated aggressively and the female passenger was ejected.
The passenger, identified as Kelsie Kae Sturm, 34, was transported to Osceola Regional Health Center by the Ocheyedan Ambulance where she succumbed to her injuries., the press release said. The accident remains under investigation.
The Ocheyedan Ambulance, Sibley Ambulance, Harris Fire Department and Iowa State Patrol assisted at the scene.
