SLAYTON - A former Lake Shetek woman will serve two years of supervised probation and pay a $700 fine related to the late July discovery of drug paraphernalia in her Lake Shetek Lodge unit.
During Monday’s joint plea and sentencing in Murray County District Court, Elizabeth Sanow, 43, of Garvin, received a statutory stay of adjudication after pleading guilty to fifth-degree drug possession, a gross misdemeanor. A second charge was dismissed as part of the plea agreement.
Sanow may complete community service in lieu of the fine.
As of Tuesday afternoon, Bradley Greve, 44 - who was also charged after the late July Buffalo Ridge Drug Task Force search of the couple’s shared unit - was scheduled for a Nov. 15 jury trial in Murray County District Court if no agreement is reached.
