FARGO - An alleged shoplifter who concealed nearly $1,000 worth of items from Fleet Farm in her purse and an electric roaster box ended up getting burned, Fargo police said.

Tracie Lynne Walberg, 42, of Moorhead, was arrested about 3:30 p.m. Monday on suspicion of felony shoplifting, Sgt. Jeff Skuza said.

Walberg is accused of removing several items from their packaging, including a digital camera, a $300 DeWalt drill, battery packs for the drill, a BB gun, two jackets, a laser sight, a scanner and two shirts, Skuza said.

Walberg allegedly hid the items in her purse and the electric roaster box and then paid for the cheaper item before the store's loss prevention officer caught her.
