WORTHINGTON — Water main construction on 11th Street from near Fourth Avenue to Sixth Avenue is scheduled to begin as early as Thursday.
Eleventh Street will be closed to through traffic. Limited access to businesses on 11th Street will alternate from the Fourth Avenue or Sixth Avenue ends of 11th Street as construction progresses. Intersections with Fourth Avenue, Fifth Avenue and Sixth Avenue will be closed at times. Fifth Avenue traffic will be detoured when the intersection is closed.
Weather permitting and construction proceeding as planned, pipe and hard surface restoration
work should be completed and through traffic on 11th Street restored by late October.
