WORTHINGTON - A.C.E. of Southwest Minnesota and the Center for Active Living are offering a customized workshop for people living with chronic health conditions.
The Better Choices, Better Health workshop is a six-week series to teach skills to individuals to manage their health. The workshops are recommended for people dealing with issues related to weight, diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, cancer, lung disease, high blood pressure, multiple sclerosis, depression and other chronic health conditions.
Workshop topics include relaxation skills, managing symptoms and emotions, improving communication, goal setting, making decisions, getting a good night’s sleep, weight management and more.
Classes will be from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Fridays April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 and May 6. A free-will donation will be accepted at the end of the six-week series.
