WORTHINGTON - The Worthington Area Foundation will host a disc golf event Saturday at the Sunset Bay Disc Golf Course, 951 Crailsheim Road, Worthington.
There are two ways to participate. First, there will be an 18-hole Random Doubles Disc Golf Tournament beginning at 9 a.m. Tournament participants must have some previous experience and provide their own discs. The top three teams will receive prizes.
The second way to participate is a nine-hole “Fun Round” open to all ages and ability levels at 10:30 a.m. No equipment or prior experience is needed to participate in the fun round. Participants will play a nine-hole round of disc golf, plus all participants have the opportunity to play two specialty games, Mini-disc Distance Throw and Ring of Fire.
