Worthington City Council race growing

WORTHINGTON -- As of Friday afternoon, Worthington City Hall reported just four individuals have filed thus far for three city council seats up for election in November.

WORTHINGTON -- As of Friday afternoon, Worthington City Hall reported just four individuals have filed thus far for three city council seats up for election in November.

The following individuals have submitted an affidavit of candidacy and payment to begin campaigning for Worthington City Council:

  • Rod Sankey, Ward 1

  • Christopher Kielblock, Ward 1

  • Amy Ernst, Ward 2

  • Chad Cummings, At-Large

Anyone interested in filing for city council has until 5 p.m. Tuesday to do so. Filing must be done at City Hall, 303 Ninth St., Worthington.
