WORTHINGTON - A Worthington man arrested Thursday on a complaint warrant faces multiple criminal sexual conduct charges.
According to court documents, a complaint warrant was filed Wednesday by the Nobles County Attorney’s Office for the arrest of Gustavo Saenz, 63.
According to the criminal complaint, charges were filed on the basis of a series of early August doctor’s appointments of a female younger than 13 years old that had showed abnormalities during a physical exam. When interviewed by Child’s Voice in Sioux Falls, S.D. the young girl accused Saenz of sexually abusing her, causing both pain and discomfort. The accusation does not allege penetration.
Saenz faces three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and three counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct - victim younger than 13 years old, all felonies. Saenz faces a maximum punishment of 30 years imprisonment, a $40,000 fine or both.
His conditional bail was scheduled at $40,000 and his unconditional at $80,000.
