WORTHINGTON - A Worthington man was arrested Friday on a bench warrant on outstanding cases and faces additional charges filed Monday.
Timothy Stanley Jr., 33, is facing 26 felony-level counts of violating a no-contact order within 10 years of the first of two or more convictions.
According to the criminal complaint, the Buffalo Ridge Task Force became aware in September that Stanley had periodically been contacting an individual from the Shakopee Correctional Facility despite an effective no-contact order. The complaint alleges Stanley contacted that individual by phone 160 times over a 26-day period.
Stanley has some open criminal cases that are pending disposition, including one in which he pleaded guilty in early January to second-degree assault when he pointed a gun and threatened to kill an individual during an April 2017 altercation. it was noted in that plea hearing that Stanley has a criminal history score that exceeds the maximum score indicated by the state.
He has two second-degree domestic assault convictions in 2007 and 2012 and a domestic assault conviction in 2012.

Stanley’s bail was set at $100,000 with conditions or $250,000 without.
Stanley is set to appear Feb. 26 for a contested omnibus hearing for the no contact order violation case and sentencing on the second-degree assault case.
