Worthington resident claims $25,000 lottery prize

ROSEVILLE -- Vilay Chantharath of Worthington won $25,000 playing the Moneycomb Crossword game in the Minnesota State Lottery. Chantharath claimed the prize July 5. The ticket was purchased at Sunshine Foods in Jackson.

ROSEVILLE -- Vilay Chantharath of Worthington won $25,000 playing the Moneycomb Crossword game in the Minnesota State Lottery. Chantharath claimed the prize July 5. The ticket was purchased at Sunshine Foods in Jackson.

Since the state lottery began, players have won more than $6.5 billion. In addition, more than $2.6 billion in lottery proceeds have helped the state to preserve, restore and protect Minnesota’s environment and fund education, public safety and health and human services.
