Worthington weekend death being investigated

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department issued a press release Monday regarding a weekend death in the Sungold Heights neighborhood.

"WPD investigated a call for service at 8:13 a.m. Jan. 25 in the area of North Spring Avenue and Cecilee Street where a 40-year-old man was deceased at the scene from self-inflicted causes," the press release stated.

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office is assisting with the investigation, the release added.
