WORTHINGTON — Sanford Worthington Clinic will host several drive-through flu vaccination clinics to help prepare for the upcoming flu season.
The Centers for Disease Control recommends annual flu vaccines for everyone over six months of age, but they are especially important for those with high risk of flu complications, including pregnant women, adults aged 65 and older, and young children.
Drive-through flu vaccinations will be offered at Sanford Worthington Clinic at the following times and dates:
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today (Sept. 19); 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday; 4 to 6 p.m. Sept. 30; 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 7; 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 10; 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 14; 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 21; 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 28; and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 31.
Individuals attending the drive-through event should: wear a face mask; dress yourself and family members in short-sleeved shirts; and dress infants and toddlers in a diaper or shorts. They should also stay in their vehicle. The Sanford Worthington team will bring paperwork out, and then administer the flu vaccine through an open car window and/or door.
