Nobles County Library celebrates summer reading

The library hosted a carnival Wednesday afternoon with games and prizes for attendees.

The DeGroots, through the Legacy Partners program of Worthington Regional Health Care Foundation, offered a matching fund of up to $100,000 for Nobles County Historical Society's Making History at the Armory Capital Campaign to fund the renovation of the historic Worthington Armory building into a new Nobles County Heritage Center. As of Jan. 27, the matching fund drive collected $110,114 in donations, fully leveraging the DeGroot gift and resulting in the $210,114 donation.
