Kia Vander Kooi and Aaron Nystrom announce their engagement.
Parents of the couple are Dave and Deb Vander Kooi and Jean Nystrom, all of Worthington, and the late Marvin Nystrom.
Vander Kooi is a graduate of Worthington High School and the University of Minnesota. She is currently an academic adviser at the University of Minnesota and is pursuing a master's degree in adult education.
Nystrom is also a graduate of Worthington High School and the University of Minnesota. He is in his final year at the University of Minnesota School of Veterinary Medicine.
They plan a Sept. 12th wedding at Worthington Christian Reformed Church, Worthington.
