Charitable losses cause by the smoking ban, you have to be kidding! More than 85 percent of Minnesotans don't smoke, so does that mean that only smokers buy pull tabs or play bingo?

I know several people that have cut back or stopped "gambling" because they just can't afford it like they once did. The high cost of fuel and the economy's downturn are two of the major reasons for charitable losses. Let's face it, we have to cut spending somewhere.

I think our politicians should spend more time on the real problem rather than going against an overwhelming vote by the majority.
