In all due respect to all the comments and letters recently expressed regarding King Turkey Day (and the downtown/fairgrounds locations), we would like to remind all members of King Turkey Day Inc. of the annual meeting at 6 p.m. Nov. 6 at the Elks Lodge.
Membership, as defined in the by-laws, is such persons natural or corporate who contribute and assist in the conduct of any of the promotional activities by this corporation. Sponsors, volunteers, donors, past/present board members, racers and committees are welcome. This is the time to show your support and let the board know your feelings.
Spread the word and plan to attend - this is an extremely important meeting. Ask your questions, join forces, bring suggestions, keep things moving and growing in a positive direction. The board will not know how we feel unless we tell them.
