I'm wondering after the recent candidates' forum if the current Nobles County District 2 Commissioner is more concerned about the City of Worthington then her own district.
We have a person running for Nobles County District #2 Commissioner, Daryl Behrends, who is willing to do what is right for the people of District 2 and the residents of Nobles County. We need someone that does not have interests outside of the district they represent. We understand that what is good for the county is good for all of us. How much of the expenditures spent within the City of Worthington actually benefit the taxpayers of District 2?
Mr. Behrends understands Nobles County from the inside as a former county employee. Mr. Behrends has worked with all the departments in the county as a deputy sheriff. He understands the concerns of the county employees because he was one. Mr. Behrends has six years experience as mayor of Wilmont, 22 years in public utilities, 13 years in farming, 30 years as a small business owner and 27 years in law enforcement.
Behrends knows how to ask the tough questions for the people of his district. We need change with sincere representation for District 2. As Americans, we want change in our country. It is time for a change in the commissioner's office, and Daryl Behrends is the person we need fighting for us in Nobles County District 2.
