Letter: Camper displeased with rules

I was very disappointed when we went camping last month with our friends and found we could not camp in the same area together, as they had a camper and we were using a tent at Fury's Island.

Since when did it become that if you want to camp with another family for the weekend, you either both had to be in campers or tents? That the only people allowed to sleep in a tent in the campsite are children? I could understand if there was a big group of us, but it was just two families out to enjoy the weekend together.

I feel this is wrong. We weren't out there to "party" and cause a lot of noise. We were just out there to enjoy a weekend camping.
