The American people deserve something better. Our politicians will say anything to get elected.

Our dollar will once again take a big drop in value, after another big bailout.

Energy independence is the only way to save the dollar.

The oil-rich countries are taking $70 billion of our money every year. None of it returns.

The Saudis could bail us out. The Bank of Islam does not like to charge interest. They only want a share of what they invest. Guess who will wind up owning your mortgage. We may have to make some concessions, such as praying seven times a day. Nothing wrong with that . We may get a bruise on our forehead from kissing the ground.

If we do not gain energy independence, we will be at the mercy of oil-rich countries. Our dollar will be worth nothing. We will be fleeing south in the middle of the winter. Let us hope our flight will not be in the middle of the winter.

Where are those responsible for the failure of all the financial institutions? Are they getting golden parachutes? Is their money invested in something better than the U.S. dollar? Perhaps oil, gold, silver, or maybe even the Euro?
