The news of mass killings and war crimes by the ISIL offshoot of al Qaida - and lining up Iraq’s captured troops machine-gunned in mass graves - is appalling. But let’s step back in time 1,384 years ago to the year 630 A.D., and we will see the nuts don’t fall too far from the tree. This is just deja vu all over again.
In about 630 A.D., Muhammad marched 3,000 of his men against the Qurayza Jews. The besieged Jews, numbering 2,000 souls, surrendered at last. The women and children were kidnapped and sold into slavery. The Jewish men were made to dig in the trenches all night. In the morning, groups of six Jews with their hands tied behind their backs were led to the trenches, where their heads were chopped off and their bodies rolled into trenches. The butchery lasted all day and continued by torchlight into the night. The Jews had their God and prophets and would accept this false prophet they had never heard of.

With Independent Day recently celebrated, let us remember America’s victory over Muslim pirates on the north coast of Africa. The first Barbary War in 1801 to 1805 gave us the Marine anthem, “To the Shores of Tripoli.”
Why is America’s mass media insisting Islam is a religion of peace when Islam is waging its second holy war against America? Deja vu - here we go again.
