It was with a great deal of disappointment that I read the Globe article that informed us that the movie theater project was put on hold due to a lawsuit involving PBK Investments and Marthaler’s Yellow Company, LLC. Mayor Mike Kuhle’s article a day or two later was somewhat encouraging in that he affirmed that the city “will hold up its side of the bargain.”
I certainly hope that this lawsuit can be resolved in a timely manner and will not ultimately cause a total cancellation of the planned theater project. If this would unfortunately happen, I certainly hope that there will be a Plan B. Our town needs a theater, and we certainly have already waited a long time for that to be accomplished.
