Thanks for the article about the Iranians in North Dakota in the July 20 Globe.
There is strength in the ability to negotiate instead of going to war. In life we don’t always get - or should get - our own way.
After World War II we had the Marshall Plan to help Europe recover from the war. Today, we are equal negotiating partners. Perhaps we need to think this way about Iran instead of pre-judging that they’ll use funds to help terrorists instead of developing their economy.
We make friends with people/nations by treating them fairly.
How can we be pro-life and pro-war when we see what war does to people? Let’s be life-long learners with open minds. Jesus came to show us how to live. He taught us to love our enemies. As Christians, let’s follow him.
