The Worthington Area Foundation (WAF) is in the middle of a dollar for dollar matching grant campaign. Therefore, we are asking area residents to please consider making a donation of any size to Worthington Area Foundation by June 25.
For people who are not familiar with Worthington Area Foundation, we invest donations in endowed funds, and use part of the interest earned to award grants to local public and non-profit organizations each year. Grant applications are accepted every year in September.
Additionally, we will also be hosting a Disc Golf Event on Saturday, June 25, 9:15 a.m. at the Sunset Bay Disc Golf Course in Worthington. There is an enrollment fee; each participant will receive an event disc. Call 376-6105 to sign up for this fun community event.
We invite you to make a lasting investment in the Worthington area by sending a donation to Worthington Area Foundation, PO Box 373, Worthington, or by visiting our website at www.wgtnareafoundation.org . Thank you for considering this opportunity to help us grow the WAF endowment fund.
