My husband - a Vietnam veteran - and I were at Perkins Restaurant on Nov. 4, having pie and coffee. He was wearing his Army Vietnam cap.
When we were ready to pay our bill, the bill was already paid! What a wonderful surprise. The bill was paid by a group of ladies sitting at the next table. Thank you, ladies, for your kindness.
Veterans Day is Wednesday. Let’s remember our veterans.
