None of is more than one degree from someone with cancer, whether it is a close friend, a family member or ourselves directly.
There are nearly 15 million cancer survivors in this country today that owe their lives to innovations and advances in early detection and cancer treatments. However, an estimated 1.7 million more cases of cancer will be diagnosed in the U.S this year.
This disease will kill nearly 590,000 people nationwide. That is one person every minute of every day. We all need to stand up to cancer. It affects all of us.
