Many help make summer theatre season possible

The Okoboji Summer Theatre season started on June 12 with the musical “Godspell.”  It’s not too late to buy tickets for the rest of the season, so call the box office at (712) 332-7773 to make reservations, or stop by the theatre on Highway 71.

The students are settled into Okoboji and at the welcome picnic received welcome bags. These were made possible thanks to the generosity of Okoboji Summer Theatre Association members and local businesses that provide items for the gift bags. The donations were appreciated by the students and will also be given to guest performers and directors during the season.

The local businesses that provided gift items are: Arnolds Park Amusement Park, Arby's, Daily Addiction, Farmers Savings Bank, Goodies, Hy-Vee, Iowa Great Lakes Welcome Center, Lakes News Shopper, Life on the Lake, Milford Coffee Shop, Okoboji Skin Care, Okoboji Tourism, Perkins, Pink in the Park, Rabab's, Spudnuts, Sugar Shack, Three Sons and United Community Bank.
