Letter: Plenty of love shared through shoeboxes

When you have love to share, do you ever think to put in a shoebox? In late November, 10,697 of these love-filled boxes left Worthington to be delivered to children in many parts of the world. Of these, 2,881 were donated locally, plus there were donations of money for shipping and extra items for packing at the processing center.

We are so grateful for all of this as well as help in packing and receiving. Special thanks to athletes from the college who helped with the heavy loading.

Our local drop-off site is closed until 2020, but you may pack a box anytime by going to or Build a Box.
