Due to a distinctive clause in the city code, Wisconsin's port city has the state's only Super One with a bar, alongside longstanding liquor store bars that have become community institutions.

The chemical cocktail created an orange colored vapor cloud measuring 20 miles long and 5 miles wide — and it parked itself over the populated area of Superior, Wisconsin, and neighboring Duluth, Minnesota, prompting a mass evacuation of more than 50,000 people.
The vote among 15,000 Minnesota Nurses Association members was "overwhelmingly" in favor of the strike, according to MNA.
The bridge won’t be refurbished. Instead, it will be a full replacement beginning in 2028, with construction lasting five or six years.

The burglary at the Wisconsin shop was another episode in what police said is an established connection between Chicago and towns along the western tip of Lake Superior. Drugs often move north from Chicago, officials said, and sometimes firearms head south.
"It is the most flagrant flaunting of vice publicly before the people that I have ever seen."
The group plans to walk along the path of the Line 3 Enbridge replacement pipeline from Superior, Wis., to the North Dakota border, finishing about July 29.
