PGA Golfer Tom Hoge inducted into Fargo South hall of fame

PGA Tour winner and former Fargo South Bruin Tom Hoge was honored Tuesday night as an inductee to the school's Hall of Fame.

Hoge attended South from 2004-2007, also inducted was former coach Steve Kennedy, the pair won state championships for the Bruins all four of those years.

Key Bison football players will enter transfer portal

A day after the regular season ended, North Dakota State cornerback Marques Sigle, wide receiver D.J. Hart and running back Dominic Gonnella are entering the transfer portal.

Sigle confirmed that he has played his last down with the Bison and confirmed Hart and Gonnella are leaving NDSU, too.

Fargo North volleyball headed to state for the first time in 11 years

We’re down to just 16 teams in North Dakota High School Volleyball the state tournament starts Thursday and one of those 16 teams is Fargo North.

The Spartans ended their decade-long state tournament drought Saturday with a win over Red River at the EDC tournament.

Shanley set for Dakota Bowl appearance four years after moving to biggest class

Shanley football is set to play Bismarck Century in the 11AA championship game, proving the Deacons have quickly found a way to compete in the biggest class, even with just a fraction of their opponents' enrollments.

Shanley made the jump to play with the big schools in 2019. Four years later, they’re playing for a championship in that class.

Central Cass Squirrels set for first Dakota Bowl appearance

Friday morning marks the first time since 1980 that the Central Cass Squirrels are playing in a state final game. It’s also the first time they’ll be playing inside the Fargodome.

Forty-two years ago, Central Cass defeated Watford City 26-12. On Friday, the Squirrels face the undefeated Aggies of Velva-Drake-Anamoose-Garrison in the Class 11B championship game.

North football prepare for first Dakota Bowl appearance in 22 years

It has been 22 years since Fargo North football played for a title. Spartans coach Adam Roland told his team they are in this game by choice, not by chance.

"Coach Roland said this is a team of destiny," said senior lineman Adam Jarski.

Fargo North football is on a mission this year.

"Growing up as a kid and coming to the games and watching the team not really succeed and finally getting the success and being on the team just feels great," said junior running back Peder Haugo.
