Bobbi Jo Funk and Carsten Reimann, both of Ingolstadt, Germany, announce their engagement.
Parents of the couple are Jim and LuAnn Funk, Sibley, Iowa, and Georg and Gisela Reimann, Lauenau, Germany.
Funk has a bachelor's degree from Central College, Pella, Iowa, and a master's degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, Ind. She is employed by the Catholic University of Eichstaett-Ingolstadt.
Reimann has an advanced degree in engineering from the University of Hanover, Germany. He is employed by Continental Ag, Ingolstadt.
They plan an April 7 wedding in the Chapel of Love at the Mall of America, Bloomington.
