ROUND LAKE — The first-ever Round Lake Fire Department will take place on July 11.
Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m., with the rideout at 11 a.m. with police escort. The ride starts at the Round Lake Fire Department and stops will follow at the Fulda Fire Department, Rushmore Fire Department, Adrian Fire Department and Worthington Fire Department. The ride will end at the Round Lake Fire Department, where there will be meal and door prizes.
Money raised will go to fund the purchase of turnout gear for the department. The city of Round Lake has promised to match the fundraising effort up to $2,500.
