AUDUBON, Iowa -- Host Audubon beat Harris-Lake Park 48-20 in the Wolves' first high school football playoff contest of the 2019 season Friday night, ending H-LP's record at 8-2.

Audubon used a a sturdy ground attack, attempting 39 rushing plays but also gaining more than 180 yards on just nine passing attempts.

Harris-Lake Park's Brody Sohn completed 15 of 26 passes for 220 yards and three touchdowns, including hookups to Edgar Tapia for a 19-yard score, 30 yards to Isaac Ihnen and a 2-yard TD pass to Ihnen.

Sohn was his team's leading ball carrier with 44 yards on 11 rushing attempts. Ihnen caught six passes for 110 yards overall.

Luke Gunderson had six solo tackles and six assists for the H-LP defense, and teammate Abdulla Elbuytari also had a strong defensive presence.

Audubon brings a 10-1 record into its next playoff game.
