MINNEAPOLIS -- The Worthington Stingrays swim team gained two first-place finishes at the Minnesota state meet last weekend at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center.

Ben Schreiber won his 50 freestyle event in the boys 13-14 age group, concluding his race a full .6 seconds faster than the second-place competitor. And the boys 15-and-over medley relay (Jacob Mills, Gordon Luke, Gerrit Bos and Isaac Schreiber) was a champion, coming in at 2:10.19 -- four seconds faster than the next-best team.

The Stingrays produced 27 personal bests times.

Mills finished his Stingrays career with three personal best times, earning medals in the 200 IM (second) and 100 butterfly (third) while placing sixth in the 100 breast individual race. Bos had a personal best in the 50 freestyle while placing second in the 15-18 category.
