The games were tight in Redwood Falls Thursday night, but all three went the way of the host Redwood Valley Cardinals in a sweep of the Worthington Trojans high school volleyball team.
In other area matches, Adrian/Ellsworth defeated Southwest Minnesota Christian in four sets while Murray County Central upended Hills-Beaver Creek in four.

REDWOOD FALLS -- The first set was the tightest. The Cardinals prevailed 25-23, then used their momentum to carry them through the next two, 25-18 and 25-17.
Ellie Weg was 11-for-15 serving for Worthington with eight points and four aces. Teammate Stephie Bauman was 12-for-13 with four points and one ace.
Bauman also had 22 set assists.
Weg put up four blocks and Sophie Wietzema had five. Wietzema and Tarren Spartz each had eight kills while Weg had nine digs and Spartz six.
The Trojans are 1-5 on the season.
A/E 3, SW Christian 1
EDGERTON -- The defending Red Rock Conference champions beat a hard fighting Southwest Christian team 25-23, 25-18, 19-25 and 26-24.
Mayssa Tweet had 24 digs for the winners and Brianna Reckamp added 19. Shawna Rogers was 12-for-12 serving with one ace and Jayden Zebe was 12-for-12. Reckamp had four ace serves while Tweet and Marisa Lehnhoff were both 10-for-10 at the line.
Rogers contributed 24 set assists. Reckamp had 14 kills and Lehnhoff was close behind with 13.
MCC 3, H-BC 1
HILLS -- Hills-Beaver Creek came out strong, winning the first set 25-17. But Murray County Central captured the next three, 25-16, 25-20 and 30-28.
Emily Rohrer had 22 kills for the Rebels, and Camdyn Kluis had 10. Kluis also had three service aces.
Kylie Frisk had 40 digs while teammates Amber Boock and Brynn Graphenteen added 31 and 30, respectively.
Graphenteen had 47 set assists.
