MOUNTAIN LAKE -- Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda ran its boys basketball record to 10-3 Thursday night with a 10-point victory over Red Rock Conference opponent Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey.
Trevor King tallied 15 points, Eli Fest 14 and Sawyer Drent 12 for the winners.
Jordan Toll had 20 for MLA/C while Kolby Kremmin and Ethan Nickel both had 10. Toll also had nine rebounds.
W-WG 84, Adrian/Ellsworth 50
WESTBROOK -- Westbrook-Walnut Grove had good balance in beating Adrian/Ellsworth.
Hunter Lien scored 18 points, Ethan Mischke had 16 and Cole Vande Wiele had 13. Austin Parker scored nine points and had eight rebounds.
Peyton Lewis talled 15 points for the Dragons.

LUVERNE -- Gannon Ahrendt scored 28 points to lead Luverne over Big South Conference rival Windom Area. The Cardinals trailed 40-27 at the half but outscored the visitors 45-23 over the last 18 minutes.
Bailey Cowell had 16 points and Jayson Rops 10 for the LHS cause. Conner Redman, Abe McKibben and Dylan Serreyn all had 14 points for the Eagles.

SLAYTON -- Blake Schmitz scored 23 points and also contributed nine rebounds and six assists to help Murray County Central upend Pipestone Area.
Chant Mitchel scored 16 points for MCC, with 10 rebounds. Dawson Kellen had 20 for Pipestone Area, which also got nine points from Aaron Lingen, all on 3-point attempts.

EDGERTON -- Carter Van Hulzen put 23 points with his nine rebounds as Southwest Christian bested Hills-Beaver Creek. Jacob Raak had 18 points on six 3-pointers and Hunter Vander Haar scored 15 points and pulled down five rebounds.
Hills-Beaver Creek was led by Cole Baker and Zander Wysong with 18 and 17 points, respectively.

Marshall at Luverne
LUVERNE -- Ella Reisdorfer and Amira Cowell paved the way for Luverne’s 131.375 to 116.050 win over Marshall.
Reisdorfer captured firsts on the bars (7.825), beam (9.350) and floor (9.0) while also placing atop the leaderboard in the all-around, with 35.2.
Crowell won the vaulting competition with a 9.025 and was second in the all-around with 33.750, ahead of teammate Sarah de Cesare who was third at 30.125.
New Ulm 4, Luverne 3 (OT)
NEW ULM -- Keagan Schiro scored in overtime, letting New Ulm edge Luverne.
Cade Wenninger, Brock Behrend and Henry Hartquist had Luverne’s goals.
The Eagles out-shot the Cardinals 64-31 for the game.
