Ashton Fogelman, a sophomore at Worthington High School, has been named to the Big South Conference all-conference girls hockey team. Also, five WHS athletes were named to the All-Big South gymnastics team.
Senior Taylor Eggers, juniors McKenna Prunty and Kara Thuringer, sophomore Gracia Elias and seventh-grader Hali Bullerman are the Trojans named to the gymnastics squad, West Division.
Worthington's Kya Nickel is an honorable mention on the hockey team.
Other area players named all-conference hockey are Kamryn Van Batavia and Reghan Bork of Luverne, and Anna Volk of Windom Area.
Windom Area had two competitors named to the all-conference gym team: Mareah Carlson and Brooklyn Paulson. Jackson County Central's Carson Schneekloth and Payten Benda are all-conference. So, too, are Meghan Witte of Luverne and Kindra Douty of Pipestone Area.
