Amateur baseball: Region 13C matchups announced

WINDOM - First round matchups in the Region 13C were decided Monday night at a coaches meeting for the remaining teams.
Luverne earned the No. 1 seed and will open up regions against No. 8 Lakefield. The Redbirds had a bye through the First Nite and Gopher League playoffs while the Frogs knocked off Pipestone in two games.
Hadley is the No. 2 seed and will play No. 7 Heron Lake. Since neither team has lights at their field, the site for game one Wednesday is to be determined.
Fairmont is the No. 3 seed and will host No. 6 Wilmont at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Fairmont. Game 2 will be in Lismore.
Milroy earned the No. 4 seed and will host No. 5 Jackson at Irish Yard on Wednesday night.
