Blue Mound skaters earn second-place finish

LUVERNE -- The Blue Mound Figure Skaters competed Feb. 2-4 at the Frosty Blades competition at Schwan Super Rink in Minneapolis Twenty-two rinks were represented at the competition, and the Blue Mound team placed second to the host rink.

LUVERNE - The Blue Mound Figure Skaters competed Feb. 2-4 at the Frosty Blades competition at Schwan Super Rink in Minneapolis  Twenty-two rinks were represented at the competition, and the Blue Mound team placed second to the host rink.  

 

Final team standings for the top five were: 1.  Schwan Super Rink, 678 points; 2. Blue Mound, 531; 3. Hutchinson Figure Skating Association, 407; 4. Icettes-District 196, 372; 5. Sportquest Skating Academy/Parade, 363.

 

The next competition for the Blue Mound Figure Skaters will be this coming weekend at Sportquest Skating Academy/Parade, Minneapolis.
