Boys basketball: MLA beats TCU

MOUNTAIN LAKE -- Marcus Boyd scored 18 points and Spencer Khamvongsa had 12 to help Mountain Lake Area to a 65-42 triumph over Tri-City United in a first-round Wolverine Holiday Tournament boys basketball game Wednesday.

MOUNTAIN LAKE -- Marcus Boyd scored 18 points and Spencer Khamvongsa had 12 to help Mountain Lake Area to a 65-42 triumph over Tri-City United in a first-round Wolverine Holiday Tournament boys basketball game Wednesday.

Jack Skluzacek had 10 for Tri-City United.
