The Worthington Trojans boys basketball team will open the Section 2AAA tournament at Mankato East High School Tuesday with a 7 p.m. game against the third-seeded Cougars.

Worthington is seeded sixth in the tournament.

Other 7 p.m. first-round games Tuesday pit Hutchinson (8) at Marshall (1), Mankato West (5) at Faribault (4) and New Ulm (7) at Waseca (2).

Semifinal games are at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter on March 11, with finals on March 16 at 7 p.m. at GAC.
