JACKSON -- Beef, dairy and pork producers from Jackson County will team up with the Jackson County Corn Growers at the 26th annual Minnesota State Corn Cob Open on Aug. 14, at the Jackson Golf Club in Jackson, Emerald Valley Golf Club in Lakefield and Loon Lake Golf Course in Jackson.
The pork producers will serve pork burgers and sweet corn from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Jackson Golf Club.
The beef producers will serve one-pound beef ribeyes from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Jackson Golf Club.
This year, the Minnesota Corn Cob Open will also host the 11th annual National Corn Cob Open.
Numerous prizes and contests will be offered throughout the event.
