LUVERNE -- With medalist rounds by Ben Nath and Krista Van Dyk, the Luverne golf teams swept past the visiting Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers Tuesday afternoon in a Southwest Conference golf meet.
The Luverne boys totaled 169 on the day, while W-WG shot 181 as a team.
Nath carded a 39 to win the event, while Skyler Hoiland and Brandon Kleinn followed with rounds of 43 each. Cody Hemme completed the Cardinals team score with a round of 44. Daniel Hup and Dylan Skattum finished with rounds of 45 and 55, respectively for Luverne.
The Charger boys were paced by Jared Lindeman, who shot a 44 on the day. Taylor Lindeman was one behind with a 45, while Patrick Schweim and Austin Quade each shot 46 to round out the team score. Derek Eichner finished with a 48, and Brandon Jenniges shot a 52.
Van Dyk's medalist round of 47 led the Cardinal girls to a team score of 194, while the W-WG girls carded a 264 as a team.

Jessica Dorhout and Missy Olson were one shots off the pace, as each finished with a 48 on the day. Kaia Nowatzki completed the team score with a 51. Lexy Kindt also shot a 51, and Erica Rust finished with a 55.
W-WG was led by Morganne Knakmuhs' round of 55. Whitney Frank followed with a 61, while Kylie Erickson and Lindsey Grams carded rounds of 67 and 81, respectively. The Caridnals host Pipestone Area Thursday.
Girls JCC 210, RV 240
JACKSON -- Jackson County Central's Rachel Hanson tied for medalist honors with RV's Beth Maland as each player shot a 51 on the day.
Emily Marker shot a second-best 52 for the Huskies (4-0), while Kaylee Benson and Briel Hendrickson rounded out the team scores with rounds of 53 and 54, respectively. Karlee Schneekloth finished with a 56, while Erika Voss shot a round of 59.
Casey Smith shot a 62 for second place on the Cardinal team. Nicole Weelborg and Bailey Koster completed the team score for RV with rounds of 63 and 64, respectively.
Fulda 213, SSC 221
FULDA -- Brook Johnson carded a career-best medalist round of 49 to pace the Raiders (6-0) to victory.

Chrissy Wieskus shot a second-best 52 for the Raiders, while Amanda Wilkening finished with a 54. Amber Dardis posted a round of 58 to complete the team scoring, and Brooke Kuehne and Emily Kremer carded rounds of 58 and 60, respectively.
The Quasars were led by Ally Lenz, who shot a 50 on the day. Elizabeth anmd Nicole Mueller followed with rounds of 54 apiece, while Aeriel Nitch rounded out the Quasars' team score with a 63.
Southwest Christian had two girls compete on Tuesday. Emaleigh Vreeman shot a 53 and Jenni Vander Veen carded a 59.

SLAYTON -- Brittany Loosbrock shot a medalist round of 55 to pace the Dragons past the Rebels.
Brianna McCarthy followed Loosbrock, carding a 59, while Carmen Wieneke and Kelsey Altman completed the team score with rounds of 65 apiece.
Megan Carney turned in the low round for the Rebels, shooting 60 on the day. Tracey Chapman shot a 67, while Taylor Swanson and Michelle Carlson posted rounds of 68 and 69, respectively.
Boys RV 178, JCC 193

JACKSON -- Propelled by Derek Baune's medalist round of 39, the Cardinals handed the Huskies their first loss of the season.
Dane Buysse and Taylor Hengel followed Baune with rounds of 46 apiece, while Joe Rebstock completed the team score with a 47.
JCC was led by Scott Benson, who carded a 40 on the afternoon. Micah Wiegelt was second best for the Huskies (3-1, 5-1) with a 50, and Evan Sieler and Tyler Asa rounded out the team score with 51 and 52, respectively. Pat Garvin shot a 53, while Kyle Edlin carded a 54.
