ST. CLOUD -- Two days after sweeping a strong Rochester team on the road, the Minnesota West Community and Technical College volleyball team lost in three to host St. Cloud Tech, 25-21, 25-16, 25-22.
Andrea Hinkeldey had 11 kills and nine digs for the Lady Jays. Katherin Ihnen had six kills while Hannah Neuman and Emma Woelber each had five.
Woelber also had 22 set assists. Micheine Morales had nine digs and Woelber eight.
The Jays fought hard, but started slow against St. Cloud, said head coach Marie Johnson.
“St. Cloud definitely played extremely well tonight. They worked hard and were extremely scrappy,” said the coach.
