CHICAGO -- Michael Preuss won two matches for Minnesota West Saturday at the Art Kraft Memorial Wrestling Tournament at Triton College in Chicago.The former Adrian High School standout went 2-2 at 174 pounds, losing his chance to place with an overtime loss.Other Minnesota West wrestlers found mixed success. Hser Eh Pwae was 1-2 with a technical fall at 125 pounds. Hser Moo Pwae was 1-2 at 133 pounds.Wallace Michels was 1-2 with a pin at 157 pounds. Jared Loberg was 0-1 at 165, injury defaulting after his first match.King Blanchette was 0-2 at 197. Trent Rogich was 1-2 at heavyweight, and Austin Pulse was 0-2 at heavyweight.Preuss, said West head coach Bryan Cowdin, "is turning the corner and getting better each week. He is about as close to clutch as they come."
