Fan bus chartered for state soccer tournament

A charter fan bus will be leaving the Worthington High School student parking lot at 2 p.m. on Thursday for the state boys soccer tournament.

WORTHINGTON -- A charter fan bus will be leaving the Worthington High School student parking lot at 2 p.m. on Thursday for the state boys soccer tournament.

The Trojans will contend against Willmar at 7:30 p.m. at Waconia High School on Thursday in the quarterfinals of the Class AA tournament.

Seats on the bus are $10, and the deadline to sign up at the WHS main office is 4 p.m. Wednesday. All students must have parent permission to ride the bus. Students in grades K-8 must have an adult with them for supervision.

State tournament ticket prices are $10 for adults and $6 for students. They must be purchased online at www.mshsl.org/tickets .

A send-off for the Trojans is 11:05 a.m. Thursday in the high school gym. Fans are welcome to stop by and wish the team good luck.

The band bus will leave Worthington at 2 p.m., and a list of students leaving will need to be complete on Wednesday.
