Worthington Trojans Emma Thuringer and Nyamer Diew were named to the 2018 All-Big South Conference West Division girls basketball team.

Thuringer is a senior. Diew is a sophomore.

Others on the all-conference team include Jordyn Hilgemann and Hannah Meier of Marshall, Alaina Wolff of Jackson County Central, Joci Oye of Luverne, Shelby Bloemendaal and Zoe Velde of Pipestone Area, Rose Frank of Redwood Valley and Maurissa Isaacs of Windom Area.

Worthington's Anneke Weg was an honorable mention for the West Division. Others were Kaia Sueker of Marshall, Melissa Brandt of JCC, Mackenzie Petersen of Luverne and Sydney Sommers of Redwood Valley.
