GIRLS' HOCKEY: WHS girls fall on road

LESUEUR -- Seventh-grader Allison Kremer scored her first goal of the season Thursday night, but St. Peter/LeSueur-Henderson was too much for Worthington in a 12-1 victory in a girls' hockey game.

LESUEUR -- Seventh-grader Allison Kremer scored her first goal of the season Thursday night, but St. Peter/LeSueur-Henderson was too much for Worthington in a 12-1 victory in a girls' hockey game.

Kremer, a defenseman, took the puck end-to-end to score in the third quarter, notching Worthington's (0-1) first goal of the season.

"The girls never let down and played hard the whole game," first-year head coach Ken Karwoski said.

The Trojans managed 11 shots on goal.

Goalie Mikael Adolph made 14 saves for Worthington, which will travel to face Dodge Center on Saturday.
