HL-O/F volleyball team sweeps Windom Area; RRC beats SWC

Taryn Evers had 12 kills and Sam Untiedt had 11 as the Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda high school volleyball team topped Windom Area 3-0 on Monday. Set scores were 25-22, 25-17 and 25-19.

OKABENA -- Taryn Evers had 12 kills and Sam Untiedt had 11 as the Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda high school volleyball team topped Windom Area 3-0 on Monday. Set scores were 25-22, 25-17 and 25-19.

Evers also made six blocks. Emma Rasche had 20 digs and Untiedt added 19. Ellie Bang secured 36 set assists. Untiedt was 18-for-19 at the service line with three aces.

RRC 3, SWC 1

EDGERTON -- Emily DeCock scored 17 points from the service line and Karli Arkell had 19 kills as Red Rock Central defeated Southwest Minnesota Christian 25-22, 25-14, 17-25 and 25-18.

Arkell and Nora Hemmingsen accounted for eight points apiece while serving, and Josie Horning had nine kills. Hemmingsen also had 15 set assists while DeCock had 14. Lilly Stavnes and Arkell had 16 and 14 digs, respectively.
